On a train that is not the most comfortable, the crew could not hear us saying the word'stop' and asked "What's going on? Where are you going?"

I asked how I was going to pay for our trip and was told to pay when we arrived.

While this is the first time I've heard the 'dumdum dum' noise at an underground station, the situation could affect other passengers who do not use trains.

Passengers have the option to either purchase a ticket for all or part of their journey, which comes with a'stop' warning. For a £10 voucher, people are allowed a maximum of 30 minutes if they don't stop.

The second option is to buy a ticket with a "stop" warning. For £22.50, it comes with a 30 minute'stop' warning.

Tfl will only allow 15 minute warnings at certain stations, from London Victoria to Hounslow and Piccadilly. These stations are particularly important for commuters due to the busy city centre. If you travel at these times, the'stop' warning will remain.

We were told not to use our passes (even though they are in our luggage) as they could have security issues and if they do not have a warning from Tfl before entering your train they are not really fit to be on the road. I have never heard of such a situation occurring but when this happens, Tfl does not seem interested in giving feedback.

I do not wish to complain to the lady at Tfl, who apparently is not looking out for me either.

The Tube has an automatic stop warning system where you can buy a ticket as a result of an 'emergency' or you just have to press the bell before any train leaves the station and after they've stopped.

The Tfl stop warning system in London Victoria to Hounslow station is also used by Metro, so I can understand that they might want the same time limits for the other stations where the system is in use.

My personal experience would lead me to believe there are similar systems in other London stations that will let passengers buy a ticket while in the station but Tfl has failed to deliver such systems which is a bad sign.
